Best apps

Three apps. One job each.

Signal, Room, and Brief are the FocusWorks line. Each one is built to hold a person on a single piece of work, and to get quieter as that work gets clearer.

01

Signal

Today’s actions from a backlog.

For people who open a list and still don’t know what to do.

Signal reads what is waiting and returns a short list for today — usually one item, sometimes three. Everything else stays out of sight until the chosen work is done.

02

Room

A place to stay on one task.

For anyone whose tools keep offering a new tab.

Room holds a single action on screen. Notes and the source sit one step away, not in the same view. When the action is finished, the room clears.

03

Brief

One page from a mess of inputs.

For a person who has to explain the work before they can do it.

Brief turns threads, documents, and notes into a single page: what is true, what is still open, and the action that follows.

The platform reads. The apps hold the action.
